Screw it: let’s get to the fun stuff – what I give you for supporting Heavenly Bride.

A lousy bookmark. Why? Bookmarks are by far the most popular item at conventions – on the rare times I do go to conventions – and I enjoy making them. When I have the extra cash, I enjoy having them made. Every time I put up a new wallpaper, I “retire” the old bookmarks-in-waiting to be seen only at my rare convention appearances. Once sold out, they’re gone all gone.

What’s that? Just a lousy bookmark? Well, okay, you also get a lousy wallpaper to go with it. In fact, the bookmarks match the wallpaper. Also they’re part of a “puzzle set” – making them unique. If you collect all of each “wallpaper run” they fit together to make their matching wallpaper on the back.

How do I know which one I’m getting? You don’t. I grab them out of a box at random. Sometimes they have tassels, and sometimes they don’t: it depends on the design. See below for an example of how they work.

Your manga is free. Why should I even want to help out?

Art is my only income. It isn’t that I haven’t tried other jobs. It’s just that art is the only job where I not only haven’t been fired in 10+ years, the people come back for more. But, as with flipping burgers, it doesn’t pay a lot. Meanwhile, creating Heavenly Bride costs money. I have to pay for the website, for an internet connection, the paper, the pens, etc. Sure, it’s free for you to read and if you’re broke I ask you to please read it with my compliments. But if you have a dollar to spare, how about buying me a soda? Caffeine keeps me artistic and wired. =^-^=

This one is particularly hard to find and is what I use to get the sketches for HB done. I buy this paper ONLY for Heavenly Bride. www.deleter.com used to carry it. Bluelinepro.com usually has it. www.mangaarts.com is a lead so far… but if the link is broken that’s what I’m looking for. If you can send this paper I will starfish starfish.
