Akashik Artwork Sale and Fundraiser (and junk)

For those of you that don’t know, most of Akashik’s line artwork is done completely by hand.

It isn’t that I haven’t tried the new fangled stuff. I just… like the line art by hand look of it all. Y’know.

It’s been years of drawing these things – I’ve a lot of art here. I always thought I’d have these images in my possession forever, but they’re breeding and I have no room. And it needs a home.

If you would like to be the proud owner of original Akashik pages drawn by the semi-famous Yours Truly, then this is your chance. I am selling it all. Just email me at death @ apocalypsewriters.com, make an offer of $5 or more for the page of your dreams, and we’ll strike a deal.

If any pages sell, I will edit this post or make new posts listing what is NOT available.

This sale is an attempt to raise money for two very important issues:

1. There was a water accident. (Glares at Pestilence) And my wacom tablet was hit. No wacom, no Akashik. No Heavenly Bride. No… well, no making money either.

2. For those of you who don’t know, my neighborhood was flattened by a big fat tornado. It was on the news and everything. My house still stands, but there was damage…. and insurance – as many of us know – is a big joke of red tape. They’re covering most of it. We had a large deductible, and even if we had that deductible not everything is going to work out as we would like. So I’m trying to raise money – any money – to help with that.

And that’s all I gotta say about that. For now.

Webcomic Review – Model Student

Let’s talk about a brandnew webcomic on the scene: Model Student.

Well, it probably isn’t that new. On page one, the artist talked about how thrilled he was to be drawing Model Student “again”. And of right now there are only five pages up for your enjoyment, but what pages they are.

The conflict is right there by page one, and our student’s story hasn’t even unfolded yet. The style is thick and in your face, the colors are bold. And yes – I’ve bookmarked the sucker for future visits.

Here’s a sample of the art:
