Random Ramble or maybe not

I've been considering somehow getting a copy of Manga studio. I am considering that it may be applicable to Akashik. (Heavenly Bride will have to remain hand-drawn due to the creation process.) Besides, when I finally finish one of these two projects I might want it for my triumphant return to Avenia.

But one thing at a time for now... I probably should concentrate more on somehow bringing the Akashik update schedule back to two days a week... or even (gasp) daily. Oooh, the glory of daily updates! How wonderful it would be ... *dreams*

Anyway, I may have mentioned that the pre-order period for Issue 4 of Akashik in dead tree format was ending. I know I gave it a deadline of the 1st, but eh. I ended it early.

I'm also looking into having it available through our printer, ComixPress. They've always treated us well and have been very patient through our financial crisis period. If we make our books available through their online store, you can order whichever issue when you want it AND it'll be easier for retailers to find. (Our current distributor has been a slight disappointment, and we like to work with people that earn a good rep with us.)

And we highly encourage folks to get their comic shops to carry us. We'll even travel for signings if you ask us nice enough.

We, the Apocalypse Writers, were reinvited to Hurley's Heroes, which was the first convention we attended last year. Really it's only a single day show, and not a full-fledged convention at all, but we had a nice time last year and it's not too far away from home base. So we're booked again this year. We should have copies of Issue 4 with us for those that need to get their collection caught up, as well as other issues for those that wish to begin collecting. I really think the color issues are nice and it gives me a warm glow to see Pups clutch them obsessively. Or lovingly. I think that part depends on your personal interpretation of events.

I had the rare opportunity to hang with someone who reads Akashik last night ... that was interesting. I do so enjoy hearing people's interpretations, theories and thoughts on the matter. I need to be able to do that more often.

But in the meantime...

On the other hand, if we board that ship, don't get captured, the superstructure doesn't disintegrate around us, but we can't find any fuel we are, in fact, finished. =^-^=

Pre-order Period for #4 Ending
